A reminder that voting in the ccTLD elections ends at midnight in your local time Saturday, 15 August 1999.
At noon today (GMT) votes had been received from 60 registries as listed below.
I urge you to use your vote if you have not already done so. Even if your registry nominated or seconded a candidate or has a candidate standing you may use your vote (some have not as yet).
Ballot forms were sent to you in an email on 8/8 but I paste the template again at the end of this mail.

The Administrative Committee of the ccTLDs are pleased to announce that Larry Landweber has agreed to act as Returning Officer in these elections. The Returing Officer in these elections is a neutral and trusted individual appointed to oversee election procedures and vote counting. It is his job to announce the election results, when he is satisfied that proper procedures have been followed.
Larry Landweber is professor of Computer Science at the University of University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United Stated. For many years, he has been actively involved in the development of the international academic Internet and helped establish the first network gateways betwen the US and countries in Europe and Asia. He is well known internationally for the "Landweber" meetings promoting international networking in the 1980's. These meetings became the INET meetings.
