26 - 30 June 2000 Establishing joint ccTLD Secretariat.
Kanchana Kanchanasut, Abhisak Chulya, Jean-Philippe Pick and Elisabeth Porteneuve worked together in Paris at AFNIC offices. As the result the initial ccTLD Secretariat web site and mail server was established at http://cctld.nic.fr and http://cctld.thnic.net.
Kanchana Kanchanasut, the ccTLD Secretariat Executive Director requested Fay Howard from CENTR, the current holder, for the transfer of wwtld.org domain name to the new Secretariat. She also requested for the cctld-discuss mailing list transfer.
On Tuesday 27 June Elisabeth Porteneuve and Kanchana Kanchanasut attended the European Commission EC-PoP preparation for Yokohama meeting in Brussels.
On Fruday 30 June Kanchana Kanchanasut sent out the Press Release on establishing the joint ccTLD Secretariat to the ccTLD AdCom, the ccTLD Constituency Members, the DNSO Names Council, the ICANN staff and the GAC Chairman.
3 July 2000 The ccTLD web site and mail server is up and running.
The overall structure of the web site is ready. The content of www.wwtld.org has been transfered. The most important documents such as those related to the ccTLD Working Groups preparing for Yokohama meetings are ready.
