[cctld-adcom] Timeline for wwTLD Secretariat and Carthage meetings
Colleagues, Below is a proposal for description of Secretariat position. I would appreciate you could ammend or correct it, and we publish it in few days. Simultaneously we shall ask ccTLD managers to provide funds for the Secretariat and common ccTLD activities. The next meeting is in Africa, could we agree that Yann is the AdCom Chair? Yann, no objection? Next issue is the agenda for Carthage, speakers and presentations, a nameserver training. My archi-optimistic timeline would be: Aug 27: wwTLD Secretariat job posted Sep 08: consultant hired for 2 months work, Carthage meeting Sep 08: call to regional ccTLD to raise funds for wwTLD; Sep 15: agenda version 0, nameserver training people contacted call for sponsors for nameserver training issued ... etc Oct 20: documents ready on the website, 10 days prior to meeting Best, Elisabeth -- wwTLD Secretariat ----------------- Created in 1998 and funded by country code top level domain registries (ccTLDs), the wwTLD provides a forum to professional information exchange and to discuss technical and policy matters affecting ccTLDs.
