Dear Colleagues:

We would like to announce five candidates from five regions for DNSO Names
Council Global Election.  Here they are in alphabetical order:

1. Elisabeth Porteneuve: EU Region
2. Oscar Alejandro Robles Garay: LAC Region
3. Peter de Blanc: NA Region
4. Stafford Guest: AP Region
5. Yann Kwok Kem Yen: AF Region

From 12 OCT. to 25 OCT. 2000 will be the period of Global Election.  Each
voter will vote for any THREE candidates out of five.  THERE WILL BE NO
REGION IMPOSED ON ANY VOTERS.  Three candidates with the most votes win.
The other two candidates will be alternatives.  For more details of voting

ccTLD Managers will receive their ballots from Kent Crispin by today.
Please reminded that any ballots received after 25 OCT. 2000 at 12:00 UTC
will be voided.
